Worship Opportunities

Traditional Worship is held at 9 a.m. in the Sanctuary. A variety of liturgical orders of service and hymns are used for worship. These are printed  in the bulletin provided by greeters as you enter the Sanctuary.  The music is skillfully led by the Organist and the Celebration Choir. Holy Communion is celebrated on the first and third Sundays, except during the seasons of Advent and Lent when it is offered weekly.

All baptized Christians are invited to join us in receiving Holy Communion. Children who do not yet commune may come forward for a blessing. Both wine and white grape juice is offered. Often in the sanctuary ushers will come to each pew in turn to invite parishoners (you) to join in communion. You would then come forward by the center aisle and kneel at the railing, beginning at the baptismal font and continuing around to the back of the altar. You may return to your seats by the side aisles after you have communed.  At the Contemporary Worship Service communion is often given by Intinction, which is taking a piece of the bread and dipping it into the wine before consuming it.

Contemporary Worship is held at 11 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. This is a contemporary praise service led by BOUND, a band comprised of gifted musicians from the congregation.  It is an informal service and Holy Communion is offered every Sunday.

While all children are welcome in the worship services, a staffed nursery is provided from 9 a.m. until Noon each Sunday for younger children who have need of it.

Kinship Cafe is also open for coffee, refreshments and fellowship at 10 a.m. on Sundays in the Market Street Lobby.  This kicks off our FACE Time hour between services which also includes classes for all ages, music rehearsals and more.
