Prayer Concerns

March 18, 2019

 

Health Concerns:

(2-19) For Faith members Bill and Shirley Pope who are both recovering from illnesses, that they may be strengthened, and for daughter Deb Allen as she provides support. 

(3-1) For Danielle Whitaker, daughter of Faith members Bob and Dixie Whitaker, as she receives more chemotherapy, that she may be strengthened and her pain alleviated, and for her family as they provide support.

 

(3-1) For Faith member Maxine Heldridge as she struggles with failing heath, that she may be strengthened and comforted.

 

(3-4) For Faith member Steve Ringer who is being treated for cancer, that he may be strengthened, and for Carla as she provides support.

 

(3-3) For Faith member Tim Keeler who is recovering from surgery, and is being treated for cancer, that he may be strengthened, and for Martha as she provides support.

 

(3-4) For Faith member Katharina (Vicki) Fanz who is receiving inpatient therapy, that she may be strengthened, and for Josef as he provides support.

 

(3-4) For Faith member Kathryn Popio who is recovering at home from an injury, that she may be strengthened.

 

(3-4) For Faith member Ken Knops who is recovering from shoulder surgery, that he may be strengthened.

 

(3-5) For Faith member Jim Shook who is receiving hospice care at a nursing facility, that he, and Sara and their family may be comforted.

 

(3-7) For Faith member DuWayne Hansen who is recovering from surgery, that he may be strengthened, and for Dottie as she provides support.

(3-5) For Faith members Calvin, Donna, Karen, Jim, Bill, Garth and Marian, Jean, Sally and Liane who are in assisted living facilities, or receiving nursing care, that they may sense God’s presence with them and be comforted.

Special Prayers:

 

(3-4) For all who strive to grow in faith and commitment during the season of Lent, that they will be blessed during these days.

 

(3-18) For all who are suffering due to flooding in the Midwest, especially in Nebraska, that their needs will be met and their livelihoods restored.

 

In Times of Loss:

 

(3-8) For the family and friends of Kay Hurley, especially her parents, Faith members Carl and Donna Sterner, upon her death on March 8, that they may be comforted. Pastor Jean will preside at her funeral on March 13.

 

(3-11) For the family and friends of Faith member Howard Snyder, especially his wife Barb and daughter, Faith member Lynn Stambaugh, upon his death on March 10, that they may be comforted. Howard’s Memorial Service will be at 2 p.m. on March 23 at Faith Lutheran Church.

 

(3-12) For the family and friends of Faith member Paul Hecmanczuk, especially his wife Georgianna, upon his death on March 12, that they may be comforted. Paul’s Memorial Service will be at 11 a.m. on March 29 at Faith Lutheran Church.

 

(3-18) For all who are grieving the loss of a loved one due to violence in New Zealand, that they may be comforted.

 

With Thanksgiving:

 

(3-11) For the Book of Psalms as it is emphasized during Lent sermons, with gratitude for the poetry offered and the faith expressed.
