Gardeners for God: Growing Together!
He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will…increase the harvest of your righteousness. (2 Corinthians 9:10)
During this year’s stewardship emphasis, we will consider the seeds – our abilities, our financial resources, our time, our faith - and the bread – God’s grace, God’s word, Holy Communion, Jesus himself - that are supplied by God and how we gardeners for God can tend and use the seed and the bread so that together we can grow into righteousness - being right with God.
We give thanks for the many people who donated their time and talent to providing bread and staffing their table. There were a variety of breads that we were able to sample; the recipes were handed out as well. The event was enjoyed by the congregation in between the services.
