Busy Fingers are Hard at Work

Busy Fingers  is one of the many outreach ministries of Faith. The Busy Fingers ladies have been making patch-work quilts for over 40 years.

We rely on generous donations of all kinds of fabrics to make our quilts. We then cut fabric, rip seams, pin fabric pieces together and assemble them into a quilt top and then, finally, sew all the pieces together to make a quilt or blanket. The quilts are then distributed through OPEN M.

Last year we made 67 full-size quilts,18 youth-size quilts and 81 baby quilts. Since 2010 the Busy Fingers ladies have made 991 full-size quilts, 95 youth-size quilts and 573 baby quilts.

The Busy Fingers ladies meet every Tuesday morning from 9:30 - 11:30 in Faith’s Fellowship Hall. They continue to meet, but must maintain the guidelines of 10 or less volunteers. Masks are required. Please contact Debbie Gottas for more information at 330-836-6135.
