The washers and dryers were humming on what normally is a quiet night of the week at the laundromats. Faith's 14 volunteers were busy from 5 - 7 p.m., at both Laundromat City, in the Wallhaven area, and at Laundry Time, in Akron's North Hill neighborhood. Between both locations, eighty two people signed up to wash clothes for their families.
This Outreach Ministry pays for the washer and dryer use of everyone at Laundry Time Laundromat, 970 N. Main Street and at Laundromat City, 1713 W. Exchange Street, the last Wednesday of each month. For more information or to volunteer at either location, please contact Faith's Community Outreach Coordinator, 330-836-8811.
