JOIN this 8-WEEK JOURNEY!!

Who: Small Group(s) of adults, high school youth (15 per group); similar groups will be meeting in various local congregations.

What: to come to understand the biblical mandate for the multiethnic church, and gain practical insights for experiencing life with diverse others in the Body of Christ.

When and Where: 11 a.m. to Noon, Sundays, October 11 – December 6, in-person at Faith Lutheran Church and, if there is interest, on ZOOM (at the same, or another time).

Why: Outreach Director Rob Kerr asked Kemp Boyd, Director of LOVE Akron, how a church like FLC could best respond to recent racial tension and serve others. Mr. Boyd’s response was to do the Multiethnic Conversations study and encourage other congregations to do it as well!

Leaders: Outreach Director Rob Kerr and Pastor Jean Hansen

Format: A study book will be provided. Participants are encouraged to do a brief reading each day of the week. The group then gathers once weekly to discuss/reflect on the week’s readings.

Interested: Please contact Rob Kerr at 330-836-8811 or outreach@faithlutheranchurch.org. Please indicate (1) if you will participate primarily in-person or virtually, on ZOOM and (2) if on ZOOM, whether Sunday morning or a weekday evening is a better option.
